Dr (Prof) Pritish Singh is qualified Paediatric Orthopaedic and Deformity Correction Surgeon, with vast and rich clinical experience in speciality from prestigious institutes. He has special interest in Paediatric Trauma and fractures, Paediatric Hip disorders like DDH, SCFE, Perthes disease , Deformities – acquired and congenital ,Knee deformities like genu valgus, genu varus, CTEV and other ankle and foot deformities, Cerebral palsy, Bone infections, Bony non-unions, Bony Malunions, and Ilizarov cases.
He did his MBBS and MS(Orthopaedics) from prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram and excelled in studies as rank holder and distinctions in various subjects. He has done his fellowships and courses in Paediatric Orthopaedics, Limb reconstruction, Cerebral palsy, Limb deformities and Ilizarov surgeries under various national and international faculties.
He joined Prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and associated Lok Nayak Hospital initially as Senior Resident and later on as Faculty; and was subsequently promoted as Professor (Orthopaedics). He managed there variety of Paediatric Orthopaedic conditions ranging from simple to complex one with focus on prudence and results.
He exclusively practice his specialities of Paediatric Orthopaedics, Deformity corrections and Ilizarov Surgeries and treats large number of patients ranging from simple to complex ones with best results. He excels in Non-operative and Operative management of various paediatric orthopaedic ailments. His vast experience brings along result oriented and patient centric approach in all cases using best of clinical judgement and technological advances in treatment. He was running CTEV clinic and Cerebral palsy clinic in his earlier hospital, where he treated scores of CTEV & ankle foot problems and Cerebral Palsy patients with best of clinical results and he is continuing his same endeavours in Amrita Hospital also.
Dr (Prof) Pritish Singh is national faculty in field of Paediatric Orthopaedics, Deformity Corrections and Ilizarov Surgeries with his vast clinical experience, research and best treatment results. He has been a regular faculty, speaker and subject expert at regional and national level Paediatric Orthopaedic and Ilizarov conferences and has been awarded for his clinical work and expertise.
His special area of interest and expertise is Software guided deformity corrections, which ensures best and accurate clinical results in even most complex cases. He has regularly organised deformity correction workshop and courses to teach and train about recent advances and newer techniques of Paediatric Orthopaedics, deformity corrections and Ilizarov surgeries. He has trained many Postgraduate students, Clinical fellows and Observers in his sub-specialities.
Dr. Pritish Singh also believes in giving back to the society. He has actively involved in community based care of leprosy patients during his student days. He is actively involved and facilitating treatment of CTEV, congenital deformities and cerebral palsy patients with the help of social service organisations, which reduces burden of deformity in affected children and helps them live a better life.
